This is all open, feel free to check off as you do things:
- Make blurb for social media
- Fix link for our release notes in Ubuntu release notes
- What about the missing full disc encryption/EFI/secure boot tests? Anyone do these?
- We need to test 18.10 → 19.04 upgrades
- GUI (pkexec do-release-upgrade -d -m desktop -f DistUpgradeViewKDE on vm)
- TUI (do-release-upgrade -d on hardware)
- Confirm (and triage, as time allows) bugs about multiple displays and add to release notes.
- NOTE: guiverc doesn't think the following are worth mentioning in release notes - they only occur with vertical aligned screens & specific order (if screens are reversed top/bottom the issue does not occur) ie. very few users will be impacted
- pcmanfm-qt (dolphin..) moves window position on opening device, folders or adjust size of windows (when on 2nd display only with vertical placement)
- windows are opening partially split over two screens (vertical placement of displays) , pcmanfm-qt moves on changing device/partition/lower-down-folder (to be over display boundary), some windows maximize to using only ~1/8th vertical of display
- screensaver hiding only primary display (not secondary display)
- two displays, programs maximized uses only part of 2nd display
- opening menu from panel on display2 but menu appears on display1
- pcmanfm-qt menu won't show on 2nd display
- xscreensaver runs on single display, other display continues normally
- vlc opened privacy-and-network-policy (first-run) window partially obscured by panel
