Repository for manual for LXQt
Open, Unbreak Now!Public

Description

  • Have a clear place that this is LXQt version and for new contributors.
  • Need a name so people don't start downloading the LXDE manual and contribute to that but still have it visible since 18.04 and 16.04 LTS are supported.
  • Needed for improved bus factor!
  • Also should be linked in the LXDE manual to minimize confusion for contributors and don't want a problem similar to lubuntu.me and lubuntu.net.
  • Link to this from old version and contributing on this wiki.

Thanks @wxl I came to the conclusion of keeping current repository and moving the old manual to the LXDE branch. However I am not sure if the build system for https://manual.lubuntu.me is still turned on to the master branch which if it was this could cause some problems with putting the new manual on the website and clobbering the old one. I am not sure about the lubuntu.me backend and if it could just have that checkout the LXDE branch to build the legacy manual.

Can we get it on Phab instead of on Launchpad?

Uhhhhhm, this should have been moved over already.

@lynorian Are you still pushing to Launchpad? I separated it a while ago. Your ACLs should be all set, please start pushing there. I'll update prod later to pull from Phab instead.

@lynorian How has pushing to Phab been going? :)

Pushing to phab since I switched has been great but do can you get that command you gave me and document that. Thanks for giving me this command if you had previously cloned it off launchpad. git remote remove origin && git remote add origin ssh://git@phab.lubuntu.me:2222/source/lubuntu-manual.git && git push --set-upstream origin master I also realized I had not
